Hi there everyone. Here is a potted history of 2005 as it looked in the Greaves family.

January

Helen is at home beginning her recovery from her latest bout of chronic fatigue and Jonny is in the second term of his first year at Manchester University. New bed for Helen!

June

Danny and Janet enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing holiday in an apartment in an old manor house near Loo in Cornwall. the weather was very kind to us and we walked the coast path, lazed on the beach and Danny even had a swim in the sea. Helen joined us for the second week and was even able to do a short coastal path walk with us.

July

Helen is making a wonderful recovery and hopes to return to University in the autumn.

August

Jonny moved into his student house in Manchester together with three friends. He had a job in a local pub for a few weeks over the summer. Danny and Janet found it a little surreal when they visited and found him pulling pints. He passed the first year of his Computing course

September

October

Helen has returned to Reading. She is restarting her third year which she had to abandon last November. She has a place in hall on Bulmershe campus. There is a photo of her room here.

November

The sudden cold snap at the end of the month found Danny racing into Manchester on an errand of mercy bringing a clutch of wooly hats, jumpers, extra bedding and a curtain for Jonny's student house.

December

We all very much looked forward to our family Christmas get together. We all went to the Theatre Clwyd Rock & Roll Panto in Mold. Afterwards we scoffed takeaway pizzas and enjoyed a home made concert - it was great fun!

And to round of the year on a real high Helen and Paul have announced their engagement! Watch this space for details of wedding plans!
